Job summary

Digital Installation Group seeks a seasoned Superintendent to oversee field operations on multiple dry utility projects in Northern Virginia. You will coordinate field teams, manage safety, quality, and schedule, and report progress to the project manager.

The role emphasizes tight collaboration with foremen, subcontractors, and clients to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while upholding DIG's safety standards and quality expectations.

Qualifications

• Excellent leadership and communication skills with a track record of field management.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications accurately.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Strategically schedule crews, subcontractors, and vendors for timely completion.
• Conduct quality control assessments to uphold standards.
• Ensure subcontractors comply with contracted scope and deviations are addressed.
• Manage safety and regulatory compliance for the project team.
• Maintain daily activity reports and communicate progress to the project manager.
• Supervise on-site construction activities and resolve conflicts promptly.
• Proactively address risks and coordinate with the project team for solutions.
• Perform daily site inspections, identify deficiencies, and plan ahead.
• Collaborate on deficiency resolution and documentation of findings.
• Prepare and present required project documentation and meetings.
