Job summary

ANDRES is seeking an experienced on-site Superintendent to lead field operations for diverse construction projects in Dallas and across Texas. You will supervise the building process, coordinate subs, and drive safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

The role emphasizes Lean Construction, proactive problem-solving, and collaboration with Project Managers, trade partners, and inspectors. A college degree is preferred; 10+ years in public/private facilities and CMAR/CSP experience is valued.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in public and private facilities (K-12, higher education, municipalities, healthcare, religious facilities)
• Experience with CMAR, CSP, and Design/Build delivery methods preferable

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and manage all aspects of the building process
• Lead day-to-day operations on the jobsite, ensuring productivity, quality, and efficiency
• Identify and resolve construction problems as they develop
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe jobsite environment
• Share best practices and lessons learned with project teams through the ANDRES Forum
• Advocate safety as the number one priority on the jobsite and enforce safety plans and regulations
• Ensure adherence to permitting procedures, inspections, and regulatory requirements
• Develop, manage, and maintain project schedules to ensure activities occur on or ahead of schedule
• Schedule, coordinate, and manage subcontractors, vendors, surveys, and layout activities
• Conduct weekly subcontractor coordination meetings with onsite supervision
• Assist in expediting submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs
• Oversee review of plans/drawings per contract documents
• Coordinate shop drawing review ensuring alignment with scope
• Prepare and maintain daily/progress/compliance logs
• Work with engineers, architects, subcontractors, inspectors to resolve issues
• Employ Lean Construction principles to improve workflow and reduce waste
• Walk the site daily and work extended hours in extreme conditions
