Job summary

White-Spunner Construction is seeking a seasoned Superintendent to lead on-site field operations for our Southeast projects. The role demands coordination with subcontractors, adherence to plans, safety compliance, and on-time delivery within budget.

You will mentor Assistant Superintendents, review drawings and schedules, manage daily reports, secure permits, and communicate with owners and teams to sustain strong client relationships and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction Management, Building Science, Engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of field experience required or equivalent.
• OSHA 30-hour training and first aid/CPR required.
• Proficient with PCs and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Read drawings, specs and subcontract documents to plan and schedule work.
• Schedule and manage subcontractors in the correct sequence.
• Ensure quality and adherence to plans and specs.
• Conduct job-site safety meetings and document topics.
• Maintain project records, progress photos, and daily reports.
• Coordinate with inspectors and obtain permits.
• Communicate with owners, subcontractors, and team professionally.
• Close out punch lists promptly.
