Job summary

Merus is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to lead field operations on complex construction projects. You will oversee safety, scheduling, quality, subcontractor coordination, site logistics, and workforce management to deliver on time and within budget.

You'll work closely with Project Managers, design teams, subcontractors, and owners to resolve field challenges and drive successful execution from mobilization through completion.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 7+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Experience managing industrial projects (50,000–500,000 sq ft) preferred.
• Experience with commercial, multi-family, and mixed-use construction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractor activities and four-week look-ahead schedules.
• Lead daily field operations to meet safety and schedule targets.
• Develop and manage project schedules to hit milestones.
• Review budgets, scopes of work, and subcontractor roles.
• Lead safety programs and enforce site safety rules.
• Communicate progress and issues with project teams.
