Job summary

MPI is seeking a seasoned Superintendent to lead on-site construction activities for commercial and public-sector projects in the Pueblo, CO area. You will coordinate crews, schedules, and safety, ensuring quality execution and budget adherence across multiple active sites.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of superintendent experience, strong reading of drawings, and proven leadership with Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project proficiency. Local travel to sites is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
• Experience managing commercial, municipal, educational, office, government, or public-sector projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, site logistics, and project execution.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proven leadership and subcontractor management skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily construction activities and on-site operations.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
• Develop and maintain project schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Conduct site meetings and communicate project progress to stakeholders.
• Monitor project quality and resolve field issues proactively.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within established budgets.
