Job summary

Innovative Construction Services in Indianapolis seeks a Senior Field Superintendent to lead on-site field operations across multiple commercial projects. You will direct self-perform crews, coordinate with GC site teams, and ensure work is built to spec, on schedule, and to ICs standards.

You will review plans, set layouts, mentor field supers, maintain safety, and partner with the estimating and COO teams to improve constructability and field input on projects in the Indianapolis market.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial field leadership or superintendent
• Hands-on metal stud framing experience
• Framing layout skills
• Knowledge of drywall scope and ACT systems
• Experience with ACT systems and installation
• Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal)
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Strong communication with crews and GC teams
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• OSHA 30 or willingness to obtain within 60 days
• Authorized to work in the United States full-time

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations across multiple concurrent commercial projects in the Indianapolis market
• Direct and support self-perform crews (framing, ACT, insulation, paint/coatings, and drywall on smaller projects)
• Coordinate with drywall and wall covering subcontractors on larger projects, ensuring scope integration with self-perform trades
• Coordinate with GC site superintendents on daily execution, scheduling, and sequencing
• Review plans, set layout, and anticipate problems before they hit the field
• Walk jobsites regularly to verify quality, safety, and production against the plan
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and manpower with our Materials Coordinator
• Support the estimating team during pre-construction on constructability and field input
• Uphold ICs safety standards on every jobsite, every day
• Mentor and develop field supers and crew leads
