Job summary

Gordon Highlander seeks a seasoned Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial construction projects across the South/ Southeast. You will manage mobilization through closeout, coordinating subcontractors, schedules, safety, and client relations to ensure exceptional outcomes.

The role emphasizes servant leadership, collaboration with project teams, and accountability across stakeholders, with focus on quality, safety, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial construction field supervision experience.
• Proven experience managing ground-up commercial construction and tenant improvements.
• Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, sequencing, scheduling, and site logistics.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project conditions.
• Excellent communication, leadership, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all on-site construction activities to ensure safe, on-schedule, on-budget delivery with high quality.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules, milestones, and short-term work plans.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel for efficient execution.
• Monitor progress, identify and resolve field issues, conflicts, and delays.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure safety, contract compliance, and quality.
