Job summary

Procore Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect, Field Deployments, to act as a trusted technical advisor across the customer lifecycle.

You will translate business goals and technical requirements into scalable deployment solutions and collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering. You will report to the Senior Director of Solutions Engineering and operate from Bay Area, CA or Austin, TX, with up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in solutions architecture or similar customer-facing technical roles.
• Background in ground robotics, quadrupeds, mobile robots, or embodied AI systems.
• Proficiency with Python, ROS, or similar tools used in robotics and automation integration.
• Strong knowledge of connectivity, infrastructure, networking, power systems, hardware/software interoperability, or field workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to work with complex software platforms and integrated hardware/software systems in real-world environments.
• Proven history of leading technical discovery, solution validation, proofs of concept, and deployments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead robotics and AI deployments with customers in the field, managing hardware, networking, connectivity, and power infrastructure.
• Direct implementation activities, including system configuration, integration planning, training, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Serve as the point of contact for customer communications to ensure deployment planning and onsite resource allocation.
• Guide customers through interoperability across robotics, docks, sensors, field infrastructure, and software systems.
• Lead technical discovery and scoping to uncover customer goals, workflows, and constraints.
• Run demonstrations, proofs of concepts, and validation activities for complex customer opportunities.
• Act as primary technical advisor, communicating risks, tradeoffs, and next steps to stakeholders.
• Architect scalable solutions aligning customer needs with product capabilities and long-term value.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to define, test, and improve workflows across robotics and reality capture.
• Incorporate field feedback into product roadmaps to drive adoption and reliability.
• Use AI tooling to support research, solution design, content creation, and workflow documentation.
