Job summary
Advanced Technology Services (ATS) is seeking a Senior Field Service Maintenance Technician with extensive regional travel to support industrial facilities. You will diagnose, repair, and optimize manufacturing equipment, using PLCs, drive systems, and motion control devices. This role requires strong electrical and mechanical expertise and the ability to train others.
Travel is extensive (local and national). A technical degree or substantial related experience is required.
Qualifications
- Associates degree with Technical focus and 12+ years related experience; or 15 years in industry.
- Comprehensive understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems.
- Proficient with basic and specialized hand tools and programming software.
Responsibilities
- Perform expert-level break-fix and preventive maintenance.
- Identify parts, source repairs, and evaluate alternatives for cost/reliability.
- Lead maintenance optimization with customers and project teams.
- Travel locally or nationally to customer sites for field service.
