Job summary

Premise One is seeking a Field Service Technician II to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair low voltage systems in commercial environments. You will mentor a junior technician, participate in on-call rotations, and ensure project quality aligns with company standards.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in AV/security and related cabling, strong troubleshooting, and a customer-focused mindset. Travel and on-site work are expected, with a professional demeanor required at all times.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Audio Visual, Security, Intercom/Paging and Infrastructure Cabling.
• Strong understanding of programming, commissioning guidelines and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with testing devices such as Fluke testers and OTDR.

Responsibilities

• Safely prepare sites and perform pre-work assessments.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain high service standards.
• Lead Field Service Technician I and assist in skill development.
• Execute projects with quality assurance and safety compliance.
• Diagnose, service, and repair low voltage systems on-site.
• Test repairs and document all work in tickets and timecards.
• Participate in on-call rotation and emergency after-hours service.
• Maintain company vehicle and present a professional appearance.
• Communicate scheduling or service issues to field leadership.
• Support continuous improvement in field operations.
