Job summary

SNC is seeking a Field Service Technician IV to perform maintenance and technical support on tactical and commercial diesel platforms, including JLTV and related vehicles. The role includes deploying overseas for 90 days at a time, with a 60-hour work week, and providing on-site training to customers.

Required are strong diagnostic abilities, documentation of root cause and repair actions, and the ability to travel internationally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities are required.
• Experience with JLTV, Humvee, LTV or other military vehicles preferred.
• Knowledge of DoD maintenance practices and MESL directives.

Responsibilities

• Perform expert-level maintenance and repairs on aerospace/defense systems.
• Diagnose and resolve the most challenging technical issues.
• Support vehicle launch, validation, or early production efforts.
• Maintain accurate records of field activities and equipment status.
• Travel extensively to customer sites, potentially international locations.
