Job summary

SNC is seeking a Field Service Technician IV to perform maintenance and technical support on tactical and commercial diesel platforms, including JLTV and related vehicles. The role includes deploying overseas for 90 days at a time, with a 60-hour work week, and providing on-site training to customers.

As a Field Service Technician IV, you will be using your skills and expertise to perform a variety of maintenance and technical support on our products such as performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on tactical or commercial diesel platforms and is capable of supporting new vehicle launch activities on programs such as the JLTV (Joint Light Tactical Vehicle) and other multi‑vehicle configurations.

This role requires strong diagnostic abilities and detailed documentation of root cause, repair actions, and engineering issues. You'll be responsible for installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying our products and updating and tracking the status of all field related equipment.

This is a DEPLOY ONLY role working overseas on a 90 day rotation basis working a 60 hour work week. You'll build and maintain effective relationships with our customers and provide them with onsite training.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience as a technician or in a related field.
• Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• Ability to understand and interpret moderately complex technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications.
• Advanced understanding of troubleshooting techniques.
• Provide technical support for computer systems and networks.
• Install, sustain, troubleshoot, and repair various communication systems, including networks, cable distribution, COMSEC, and cryptographic devices.
• Perform expert-level maintenance and repairs on complex aerospace and defense systems.
