Volvo Group in California is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform mechanical repairs and service on a full line of heavy equipment. You will diagnose, repair, and test equipment, read blueprints and schematics, and maintain detailed work orders and warranty claims with clear descriptions.

You will provide professional customer service, support troubleshooting by phone, and ensure equipment function after repairs.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED and 5+ years of experience working on construction equipment.
• Computer proficiency and a valid California driver’s license are required.
• Frequent travel is expected.”

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, test, and repair heavy equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for Volvo product lines.
• Submit work orders and warranty claims with detailed descriptions.
• Provide professional customer service about equipment problems and options to fix them.
• Confirm equipment function after repair.
• Provide telephone troubleshooting support as directed.
• Adhere to PPE requirements and safety guidelines.
• Work independently or in a team; accommodate overtime and possible overnight tasks.
• Maintain and secure all tools; perform other duties as directed.
