e-STORAGE (Canadian Solar Inc.) invites application for a Service Technician in Arizona. You will commission and maintain SolBank Storage Power Block systems across project sites in the US, supporting LTSA obligations and field service activities with a strong focus on safety and high availability.

The role requires at least 2 years in a service environment, OSHA 30 certification, inverter and SCADA familiarity, and the ability to travel extensively.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in a service environment, preferably in renewable energy.
• OSHA 30 certification required (OSHA 10 accepted if obtained soon after hire).
• Experience with inverters; SCADA experience is beneficial.
• Knowledge of general and national codes, medium voltage power systems, and Energy Storage system applications is an asset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; MS Office proficiency.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel regionally (over 50% of the time).
• Ability to work independently and in a team; strong problem-solving abilities.

Aufgaben

• Commission CSI Energy Storage’s SolBank Storage Power Block (SPB).
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on SPBs to meet warranty requirements.
• Manage LTSA obligations for BESS equipment (ESCs, PCS, RMU, transformers, SCADA).
• Provide onsite diagnostic, troubleshooting, and hands-on support.
• Supervise subcontractors on site when required.
• Assist in developing standard operating procedures and processes.
• Complete work orders and ensure accurate spare parts inventory.
• Adhere to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and switching procedures; ensure safety.
