Sr. Service Technician role focuses on commissioning and preventive/corrective maintenance of SPBs across US sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in a service environment, preferably in renewable energy.
• OSHA 30 Certified (OSHA 10 accepted if OSHA 30 obtained soon after hire).
• Previous training and knowledge of inverters.
• SCADA experience is beneficial.
• Knowledge of general and national codes, medium voltage power systems, and Energy Storage system applications is an asset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel to regional locations as needed (over 50% of the time).
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Demonstrated professional appearance and conduct.
• Great communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to safety, ethics, and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Commission CSI Energy Storage’s SolBank Storage Power Block.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance of SPBs to adhere to warranty requirements.
• Manage obligations for BESS equipment under LTSA’s.
• Oversee and supervise sub-contractors on site when required.
• Assist in developing standard operating procedures and processes.
• Complete work order documentation in a timely manner.
• Ensure accuracy of spare parts inventory.
• Perform proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and switching procedures as needed.
• Support client training during commissioning.
• Adhere to all health and safety rules and policies.
• Complete other duties and projects as assigned.
• Team up with talented colleagues and partners to achieve project goals.
