Job summary

e-STORAGE, part of the Canadian Solar family, invites you to join our Service Technician team in the US. You will commission Solbank Storage Power Block, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and handle LTSA obligations for BESS projects across various sites.

Travel 50%+, work with ES cabinets, PCS, RMU, transformers, SCADA, and networking, while upholding safety and quality standards. You will troubleshoot on-site, supervise subcontractors, and contribute to SOP development and

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in a service environment, preferably in renewable energy.
• OSHA 30 Certification (OSHA 10 accepted if OSHA 30 obtained soon after hire).
• Experience with inverters and SCADA systems.
• Knowledge of medium voltage power systems and Energy Storage applications is an asset.
• Ability to travel to regional locations 50%+ of the time.

Responsibilities

• Commission CSI Energy Storage’s Solbank Storage Power Block.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to meet warranty requirements.
• Manage LTSA obligations for BESS equipment (ESCs, PCS, RMU, transformers, SCADA, networking).
• Provide on-site diagnostics, troubleshooting, and hands-on support.
• Supervise on-site sub-contractors when required.
• Develop standard operating procedures and processes.
• Maintain timely work order documentation.
• Ensure spare parts inventory accuracy.
• Follow proper LOTO and switching procedures.
• Assist client training during commissioning.
