Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to initiate and execute field service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and diesel equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and manage parts inventory while ensuring safety on customer-owned equipment.

The role requires strong teamwork, willingness to travel up to 80%, and the ability to interface directly with customers to resolve issues efficiently.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Capable of obtaining CDL, class A or B with endorsements.
• Ability to obtain DOT Medical card and customer clearances (TWIC, DISA).
• Must be able to travel 20%–80% as required by division/location.

Job Summary:

The Senior Field Service Technician will be responsible for initiating and executing field service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner. This role includes proactive system troubleshooting, works with mechanical, electrical, diesel equipment conditions, conducts preventative maintenance and parts inventory, and anticipates and corrects safety issues (both Company and Customer owned equipment). Has direct interfacing with customer and may be responsible for work in multiple systems/locations/customers.
