Job summary

LiquidStack is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to lead on-site installations, startups, and commissioning for advanced liquid cooling systems in mission-critical data centers. You will serve as the on-site technical authority, mentor junior staff, and coordinate activities across 24x7 environments.

The role requires 5+ years in field service, EPA 608 certification, and willingness to travel ~75%. Strong diagnostic skills and experience with high-density cooling are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field service experience in HVAC, chillers, or critical infrastructure.
• Experience leading equipment startups, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Must hold EPA 608 Universal Certification and OSHA 10.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site installation, startup, commissioning, and acceptance testing of liquid cooling systems.
• Provide technical ownership and act as escalation point in field operations.
• Coordinate work in 24x7 data center environments and adhere to safety protocols.
• Train junior technicians and perform post-job debriefs with the team.
• Document service activities and generate detailed reports and analyses.
