Job summary

Mainspring Energy is seeking mechanically inclined technicians to perform planned and reactive service operations on our generators across customer sites in a defined region. You will train at our headquarters and travel to sites to maintain uptime, availability, and performance of deployed units.

The role requires hands-on mechanical work, iteration with engineers, and a proactive safety mindset; candidates should be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and hold a valid driver's

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with mechanical assembly and/or repair.
• Experience with precision measuring down to .001”, using micrometers, bore gauges, gauge blocks etc.
• Knowledge of using basic tools like torque wrenches and documenting repairs.
• Must have valid Driver’s license; Class A CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mechanically repair and/or perform maintenance on components and assemblies to meet customer requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers to fix, repair, and redesign components and assemblies.
• Conduct mechanical inspections of deployed units and document condition information for debugging/troubleshooting.
• Be available to work rotational on-call shifts to provide optimal service and support.
