Job summary

Coastal is seeking a Senior Solution Architect, Field Service to own the overall design of technical solutions and guide Salesforce.com and other SaaS projects for clients. You will lead discovery sessions, translate findings into architectural requirements, and provide technical leadership to client and Coastal teams.

You will also play a key role in the pre-sales process, helping define scope and cost estimates while maintaining a strong focus on delivering scalable, best-practice solutions

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of advanced skills in Salesforce Field Service Cloud Implementation and exposure to Project Scoping.
• 5+ years experience in a Senior Consultant (or equivalent seniority) implementing Salesforce Solutions.
• Must have 3-5 years experience scoping and costing Field Service Cloud projects.
• Active Salesforce Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, and Service Cloud Consultant Certifications required, minimum 4x certified preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for designing a solution to leverage Salesforce product, features, and best practices extended with custom components to meet customer needs.
• Delivers technical and non-technical documentation for assigned projects, with relevant architecture diagrams (data models, high-level architecture, integration architecture, etc.)
• Responsible for overall solution design, build task development, estimating effort to complete build tasks and oversight of reporting/dashboard creation and UAT.
• Scopes and estimates projects by collaborating with stakeholders to define business requirements, assess technical feasibility, and develop accurate project timelines, resource plans, and cost models.
• Familiarity with declarative vs programmatic development and AppExchange products used appropriately for customer requirements.
• Demonstrates ability to perform Salesforce administration/configuration/datamigration duties as needed.
• Acts as solution SME, working with Delivery leadership and Account Executives to scope sales proposals.
