WMH is seeking a Senior Mechanic/Technician to join our team. You’ll ensure peak performance through diagnostics, repairs, and proactive maintenance on advanced equipment. This role also involves leading by example, mentoring technicians, and optimizing operational success.

Your Mission? To deliver diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance that maximize uptime and efficiency while leading and developing a skilled team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independence & Field Expertise: Service customers on-site using a company vehicle equipped with the latest tools and diagnostics.
• Own Your Territory: Maintain and repair forklifts, heavy machinery, and material handling equipment.
• Be the Expert in the Field: Provide accurate and professional on-site service.

Advanced Diagnostics & Repairs:

• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical issues efficiently.
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure maximum uptime.
• Maintain equipment through scheduled inspections and safety checks.

Lead & Mentorship:

• Train and develop junior technicians.
• Set service standards and help others improve their skills.

Customer Service & Documentation:

• Provide excellent customer support and technical advice.
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure safety compliance.

The Field:

• Diverse job sites, weather conditions, dust, noise.

Physical Requirements: Standing, walking, lifting over 50 lbs, working in various environments, with good vision.

Experience & Skills:

• 5+ years in material handling, heavy equipment, or automotive industries.
• Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems.
• Certifications: ASE preferred; forklift certification a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting, leadership, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools, software, and fleet management systems.
• Valid driver’s license required.
