Advanced Technology Services in Milwaukee, WI is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep complex manufacturing equipment running at peak performance. You will perform expert break-fix and preventative maintenance, diagnose PLC and drive systems, lead safety practices, and train other technicians while traveling locally and nationally.

This role requires a technical degree or 10–12 years in the industry, strong problem solving, and the ability to document work and mentor

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Associates degree with a Technical focus and 10 years of related experience in specific industry; or, 12 years of experience in specific industry.
• Comprehensive understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems. Can analyze the problem, synthesize alternative solutions, and perform repairs.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
• Extensive travel required. (Local, National). Applicants can live anywhere within the Continental U.S
• Experience in condition based maintenance techniques, precision mechanical alignments, and maintenance of applicable process equipment.
• Experience in programmable logic controllers, field device troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical drive and motor systems.

Responsabilités

• Perform expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance. Observe devices in operation to identify root cause and repair issues.
• Identify and source parts and repair items, evaluating options to improve cost or reliability.
• Independently perform maintenance per industry standards and document work in reports and systems.
• Work with customer counterparts to optimize maintenance, reliability, and preventive procedures.
• Setup and operate machining tools and perform welding tasks as needed.
• Follow safety policies, procedures and guidelines in all tasks.
• Mentor lower level technicians and contribute to training and development.
• Troubleshoot and analyze complex control systems and document findings.
