Job summary

Hawkins/WaterSurplus seeks a Senior Field Service Engineer to install, start-up, commission, troubleshoot, and service water treatment equipment at client sites. You will supervise crews, load membranes, and perform audits while maintaining safety standards.

Reporting to the Director of Operations for Rental & Service, you will mentor Field Service Engineers and coordinate with the Production team to ensure reliable service across RO, UF, NF systems, pumps, and chemical injections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, mechanical, or electrical design/equipment repair is required.
• 7+ years in equipment service, start-up, repair, and maintenance in water treatment.
• Electrical and PLC programming experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide site installation, start-up, commissioning, testing and training for water treatment equipment.
• Support field service goals with timely start-ups and cost control for on-site time/materials.
• Lead and train Field Service Engineers and Technicians to ensure successful equipment starts.
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and ensure safe, OSHA-compliant operations.
• Travel majority of the time to client sites.
