Qualifications

BS/BA degree in Engineering preferred.
5-8 years of experience in engineering roles.
Experience with water solutions is preferred.
Excellent communication skills required.
Strong knowledge of operational processes in the work area.
Advanced mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Experience with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical (plus).
Advanced computer skills (MS Office, CRM, other applications).

Responsibilities

Lives by our safety program and drives engagement at all levels.
Conducts semi-complex site surveys to develop base or installation design plans.
On-site process start-up and operations leadership and support.
Size pipelines, pumps, blowers, other equipment, etc., based on site hydraulics.
Identify, coordinate, and engage with other functional teams to complete assignments.
Create equipment, instrumentation, and valve lists to be purchased.
Conduct in-person shop or jobsite reviews throughout the project.
Preempts potential problems and provides effective solutions in applying engineering concepts.
Writes and modifies PLC and HMI programs for water treatment systems.
Configures automation networks (Ethernet/IP, ControlNet, Profibus, Profinet, Modbus).
Support the construction/project manager with technical oversight of contractors.
Trains customers and other engineers to maintain and adjust complex tools, test equipment and calibration items.
Writes and submits reports covering all job activity.
