Brooks Automation is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to support the Phoenix, AZ area. The role focuses on installation, maintenance, and repair of Brooks equipment and systems for semiconductor and life sciences labs.

You will work closely with customers, lead onsite activities, and ensure high-quality service. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in electro-mechanical/electronics support, experience with lasers, and the ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifikationen

• Associate's degree in a technical discipline or technical certificate required.
• Minimum of 5 years of electro-mechanical/electronics technical support or repair experience.
• Experience with lasers and sensing devices for positioning circuitry on robotic units.
• Experience troubleshooting microelectronics schematics and digital circuits.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and travel domestically and internationally.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain passport for term of employment.

Aufgaben

• Install, modify, repair and perform preventive maintenance of Brooks equipment and systems, ensuring proper operation.
• Lead or participate in installation, modification, repair, testing and upgrades of software and hardware.
• Interface with customers to ensure satisfaction and participate in status meetings.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and comply with protocols.
• Prepare and submit service reports and related documentation; lead site or shift as needed.
• Train Brooks and customer personnel and support continuous improvement initiatives.
