Job summary

Omega Medical Imaging LLC in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to travel to healthcare sites, install, maintain, and repair interventional imaging systems. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, lead complex installations, and provide expert diagnostics in fast-paced environments.

The role requires 3–5 years of field service experience with X-ray or electromechanical systems, strong schematics skills, and the ability to train customers while supporting process

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of field service experience required, particularly with X-ray or high-level electromechanical systems
• Direct experience with imaging systems and installations
• Associate degree, military technical training, or equivalent relevant experience in electronics, medical devices, mechanical systems, or a related discipline
• Expertise in wire crimping, soldering, voltage measurement, and troubleshooting fuses, relays, and pots
• Strong ability to read and translate complex schematics
• Proficiency in digital electronic circuitry, electromechanical devices, and test equipment
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and work in both temperature-controlled environments and construction areas
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a passport (or willingness to obtain)
• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, or on short notice to meet customer needs

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to install, maintain, and repair Omega systems
• Troubleshoot complex service issues and minimize return visits
• Ensure timely return of critical equipment
• Master the fundamentals of X-ray technology and imaging equipment
• Stay current on product enhancements through ongoing training
• Read, interpret, and translate schematics with precision
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering and Support to drive improvements
• Provide feedback on customer quality issues to improve reliability
• Maintain service procedures and best practices
• Complete field service and expense reports promptly
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and train users
• Respond to after-hours service requests as needed
