Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Associate's Degree or related discipline with a minimum 5 additional years of related industry experience.
• High School diploma or GED with a minimum of 8 years of related industry experience.
• US Person with the ability to achieve security clearance for Department of Defense projects.
• Ability and willingness to travel 85% of the time on short notice.
• Must be physically fit to board vessels offshore.
• For offshore work, HUET and offshore survival training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission drive systems and power systems at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot on-site during Port visits or at sea; diagnose issues and implement corrective actions.
• Perform engineering tasks to ensure proper installation and commissioning of equipment.
• Develop documentation for commissioning and maintenance procedures and customer training.
• Lead on-site project management and provide technical leadership to resolve customer issues.
• Identify sales opportunities for service agreements, spare parts, training, upgrades.
• Provide on-call support for service events.
• Support growth of the North American business.
• Assist engineering teams on customer upgrade projects.
• Complete service reports and administrative requirements.
• Work on-board vessels following safety guidelines; offshore work.
• Overtime and travel may be required; domestic or overseas assignments.
