Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division in Reno, NV seeks a Senior Field Service Representative to support customers across the power system lifecycle, including startup, commissioning, maintenance, testing, and emergencies. The role offers a guaranteed 40-hour base pay, a company vehicle, and opportunities for travel premiums.

You will lead small projects, mentor technicians, generate service reports, and work with digital tools like MS Teams and IR cameras.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher with 3 years of experience in testing, troubleshooting, and servicing electrical distribution or control systems.
• Or completion of accredited trade school with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
• Ability to travel within district/state/region/country per customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support customers across the power system lifecycle: startup, commissioning, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, upgrades, emergencies.
• Manage small projects and lead FSR teams on larger projects.
• Generate timely reports on service work, product performance and warranties.
• Provide recommendations for improved electrical systems.
• Mentor less experienced technicians.
