Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in Electrical/Electronic Technology or related training is a plus (military experience counts).
• Willingness to travel; strong mechanical aptitude encouraged.
• Ability to learn testing and troubleshooting procedures.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, email, data entry).

Responsibilities

• Assist with testing, maintenance, commissioning, and repair of electrical equipment.
• Support mechanical and electrical work on power transmission and distribution systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals, and technical documents.
• Help troubleshoot equipment issues and identify corrective actions.
• Participate in equipment installation, maintenance, and repair projects.
• Maintain tools, test equipment, and service vehicles in clean and organized condition.
• Record test data and assist with technical documentation and reporting.
• Learn industry testing procedures and best practices through hands-on training.
