Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a field service engineer or equivalent role.
• Experience delivering on-site hardware/software support at client sites.
• Customer-facing experience reporting to all levels of an organization.
• Experience where clients have large asset deployments; networking & fiber exposure.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and handle server components.

Responsibilities

• Triage issues with direction from Dell support.
• Execute plan of action from Dell Domain Engineer/L3 via Teams, Email, and Phone.
• Document POA results, logs and service reports to Dell via case email.
• Reseat, swap or replace parts and upgrade firmware as needed.
• Perform server tests and validation, capture and upload logs.
