Job summary

Dell Technologies is seeking a Field Service Engineer 2 to join our Field Service team in Barstow, Texas. You will travel to customer sites to install, configure, diagnose, repair and maintain Dell hardware and software, delivering on-site support and a great customer experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional field service experience in hardware/software.
• Associate's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent.
• Experience delivering field services at client sites.
• Experience in customer-facing roles including reporting to leadership.
• Experience with networking and fiber deployments.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Triage issues with direction from Dell support.
• Execute plan of action from Dell Domain Engineer (Teams, Email, Phone).
• Document POA results, logs and service reports to Dell via case email.
• Reseating, swapping or replacing parts; upgrade firmware as needed.
• Conduct server tests, diagnostics and upload logs.
