Forgent Power Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Level 5 Switchgear Field Engineer in Minneapolis, MN. This role involves leading field service activities for medium- and high-voltage switchgear systems, ensuring safety and quality execution while mentoring junior engineers.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of field experience, a degree in Electrical Engineering, and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. Occasional travel is required, making this an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional.

Formación

• 8+ years of progressively responsible field experience with MV/HV switchgear and systems.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical safety practices (NFPA 70E/OSHA).
• Demonstrated ability to manage on‑site execution for complex service events.

Responsabilidades

• Lead field execution for switchgear installation and service.
• Perform advanced diagnostics and acceptance testing.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers and technicians.

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
