Job summary

Bloom Engineering Company, a Wabtec Company, seeks an experienced Senior Field Service Engineer to support customers across the United States. You will lead onsite commissioning, advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and long-term support of industrial combustion and heating systems.

You will work with US-based engineering, sales and service teams, operating independently with support from the Field Service Coordinator. Strong communication skills and safety training are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical discipline is required.
• At least five years of field service experience with industrial combustion or heating systems.
• Strong understanding of combustion principles including air-to-fuel ratios and NOx formation.
• Minimum two years of direct experience with Bloom Engineering or similar equipment.
• Experience supporting industrial customers and writing technical reports in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance and optimization of combustion systems across the United States.
• Perform advanced diagnostics and root-cause analysis of mechanical, electrical and control issues.
• Review and adjust PID loop programming in control systems.
• Document service reports, timesheets and technical documentation after each assignment.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering and service teams to resolve challenges and support projects.
