Job summary

Downing USA in Odessa, TX is seeking a Field Service Technician Lead to coordinate field operations for customer sites, ensuring safe, on-time execution and clear communication with field reps.

You will plan each job, assemble equipment and crew, train field techs, and provide post-job feedback and reports. A high school diploma is required; advancement relies on exp. with drilling/completion operations and strong problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating field operations and crews.
• Strong written and verbal communication with customer reps.
• Knowledge of completion and/or drilling operations preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and propose solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead field teams to support 2–3 frac crews or 4–6 drilling rigs.
• Create comprehensive plans for each job to align all parties.
• Coordinate equipment and personnel for successful execution.
• Ensure all equipment is job-ready and staff are competent.
• Oversee field operations and provide post-job reporting and feedback.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and train field techs.
