Job summary
Honeywell is seeking a Field Service Engineer II for DCS in Houston, TX. You will support Honeywell HPS applications at customer locations, performing maintenance, configuration, upgrades, and migrations of complex Honeywell control systems.
Travel up to 75% is required and relocation to South Texas may be needed. You will build strong customer relationships, present technical solutions, and coordinate with the Field Services Manager to grow business.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years field experience supporting Honeywell Distributed Control Systems (EPKS/TPN).
- Minimum of two L3 Honeywell DCS Certifications or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- Ability to learn new technologies and disciplines.
- Customer service skills required.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
Responsibilities
- DCS maintenance: hardware & software components; field troubleshooting; tag/point management; logic modification.
- Configure, maintain, and resolve Honeywell hardware/software issues (EPKS, LCN, TPS).
- Provide service for upgrades and migrations of DCS systems.
- Engage with customer to deliver technical solutions and present to stakeholders.
- Travel to customer sites; company vehicle provided; off-hours work may be required; travel up to 75+%.
