Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Atlanta is seeking a Senior Service Engineer to support automation equipment for the US and Canadian markets. You will work in a small team to create custom solutions for customer needs, with a strong emphasis on customer orientation and project-driven work.

The role requires hands-on installation, training, and remote support, along with feedback to R&D, and occasional travel. Excellent communication and adaptability are essential for success in an international environment.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge and understanding of automation and electrical engineering.
• Good software skills (MS Office); experience with AutoCAD is an advantage
• Previous experience on machine/line installation
• Advanced troubleshooting experience
• Willing to go hands on when it comes to technology
• Willing to learn and improve skills and knowledge
• "Can do" mentality
• Must have good analytical skills to be able to solve problems
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Willing to travel maximum 50% (must be able to obtain a passport)
• Able to work in an international environment
• Capable of working without sponsorship
• Possibility to travel internationally

Responsibilities

• At our facility in Atlanta: Prepare machines for factory acceptance
• Prepare machines for shipping
• Assembly and set up of automation lines
• Test running machines
• Remote support on machines in the field
• Provide phone/e-mail support to customers all over the US
• Provide feedback to the R&D department
• Composing support manuals and step-by-step procedures
• Onsite at customers: Onsite support
• Installation of equipment
• Provide machine training for customers
• Maintenance on machines in the field
