Job summary

Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions Division is seeking a Lead Field Service Electronics Technician based in Hurricane, WV, with a remote/home-office setup and daily travel to customer sites. A company vehicle is provided.

The role emphasizes on-site support, emergency repairs, start-up services, and preventative maintenance to maximize uptime. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in power systems or electronics, and a valid driver's license with a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Two (2) years of power systems, battery technologies and/or electronics experience including relevant coursework and internship experience.
• Current, unrestricted driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record.
• Must undergo background checks and drug screenings as needed.
• Daily travel to customer sites with Eaton-provided fleet vehicle.
• Provide support outside the immediate region within the USA for at least three weeks per quarter.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support including emergency repairs, start-up services and preventative maintenance.
• Perform start-up services for UPS systems and batteries.
• Travel daily to customer sites and occasional overnight stays; company vehicle provided.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems in critical power equipment.
• Follow safety rules per OSHA and NFPA 70E and maintain compliant work practices.
