Job summary

Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions Division is seeking a Lead Field Service Electronics Technician based in Hurricane, WV, with a remote home-office setup and daily travel to customer sites. A company vehicle is provided, and salaries range from $69,000 to $101,000 per year with overtime eligibility.

The role involves on-site support, emergency repairs, start-up services, and preventative maintenance to ensure uptime and reliability for mission-critical facilities.

Qualifications

• Two years of power systems, battery technologies and/or electronics experience.
• Must have a current, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Able to travel daily to customer sites in Eaton-provided fleet vehicle.
• Must undergo background checks and drug screenings.
• Able to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot/repair.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Physical tasks including lifting 50+ lbs, pushing/pulling and long drives.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support, emergency repairs and start-up services.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure peak performance.
• Travel daily to customer sites; some extended travel within the USA.
• Adhere to safety rules and company/customer safety programs.

Associate’s degree in electrical or electronics
