Job Description

Manheim, a Cox Automotive brand, is hiring a Field Sales Representative/Senior Client Solutions Executive to join our team in Washington, covering Northern Washington. Candidates must reside in this area.

This remote field sales professional will serve as the primary contact for existing dealer clients within Inventory Solutions. The role involves traveling to clients' businesses 4-5 days a week to develop relationships, introduce solution selling, and generate leads through consultation focused on in-lane and digital transactions.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Develop and execute a sales strategy to retain and grow revenue across the Cox Automotive suite.
  2. Collaborate with team members across departments and locations to enhance client service and experience.
  3. Identify and develop opportunities with key accounts for other Cox Automotive solutions and collaborate on closing these opportunities.
  4. Work with marketing, promotions, and sales teams to identify growth opportunities.
  5. Achieve sales quotas and goals, with compensation partially based on performance.
  6. Create value-added solutions to help clients and Inventory Solutions transact successfully and exceed sales targets.
  7. Focus on selling value-added solutions within a designated book of business.
  8. Work primarily remotely, with 80% travel, employing a solutions-based sales approach at client locations.
  9. Leverage Salesforce as a sales and informational tool.
  10. Maintain knowledge of auction and Inventory Solutions performance metrics and products.
  11. Understand Cox Automotive wholesale solutions to provide comprehensive value-added selling.
  12. Operate independently in various environments, including client sites and auctions.

Who You Are:

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 4 years of automotive, auction, wholesale, or internet sales/service experience. Alternatively, a master’s degree with 2 years’ experience, a Ph.D. with up to 1 year, or 8 years’ related experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing techniques.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience in automotive, auction, wholesale, or internet sales/service.
  • Proven ability to grow accounts.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com.
  • Experience with field visits to dealerships and auctions.
