Job Description

Manheim, a Cox Automotive brand, is hiring a Field Sales Representative/Senior Client Solutions Executive for our team in Washington, covering Northern Washington. Candidates must reside in this area.

This remote field sales professional will be the primary contact for existing dealer clients within Inventory Solutions. The role involves traveling to clients' businesses 4-5 days a week to develop relationships, introduce solutions selling, and generate leads through consultation, focusing on in-lane and digital transactions.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Develop and execute a sales strategy to retain and grow revenue across the Cox Automotive suite.
  2. Collaborate with departments and locations to enhance client service and experience.
  3. Identify and develop opportunities with key accounts for other Cox Automotive Solutions and work with sales teams to close deals.
  4. Partner with marketing and sales to explore growth opportunities.
  5. Achieve sales quotas and goals, with compensation linked to performance.
  6. Create value-added solutions to help clients transact effectively and exceed sales targets.
  7. Primarily sell value-added solutions within a designated book of business.
  8. Work remotely with approximately 80% travel, employing a solutions-based sales approach at client sites.
  9. Leverage knowledge of auction and Inventory Solutions performance and products.
  10. Utilize Salesforce effectively for sales and information management.
  11. Consult and sell solutions to various clients, including franchise, wholesale, and independent dealers.
  12. Follow the Inventory Solutions Sales Cycle and work independently in diverse environments.

Who You Are:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 4 years of experience in automotive, auction, wholesale, or internet sales/service; alternative combinations of education and experience are acceptable.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing techniques.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience in automotive, auction, wholesale, internet sales/service.
  • Proven success in growing accounts.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com.
  • Experience with field visits to dealerships and auctions.
