Responsibilities

As a Sr. Field Sales Manager for Wolters Kluwer Research & Learning, you will be responsible for driving profitable sales growth within your assigned territory, meeting or exceeding sales goals. You will report to the Divisional Sales Manager, Research & Learning – Tax & Accounting North America. Your responsibilities include:

  • Learning and mastering the full line of products, including features, benefits, and value propositions.
  • Executing the sales process effectively for Tax & Accounting products and services.
  • Managing your account list, developing a sales pipeline, and maintaining CRM data.
  • Generating new business through prospecting, meetings, and presentations.
  • Growing existing customer relationships to meet sales targets.
  • Contributing to product development by identifying client needs and working with product managers.
  • Enhancing market share by engaging decision-makers in target accounts.
  • Planning and scheduling sales activities efficiently.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and managing account/channel conflicts professionally.
  • Developing and updating business plans and forecasts.
  • Engaging in regular communication with your manager.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Minimum Experience: 3+ years in B2B sales, with experience in developing prospect lists, achieving quotas, making presentations, and proficiency in MS Office and Salesforce.

Preferred Experience: 5+ years in B2B sales, SaaS or software sales, industry awards, and knowledge of tax/accounting concepts.

Skills & Abilities
  • Independent working capability with minimal oversight.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Flexible schedule and willingness to travel up to 10%.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary range in CA, CT, CO, DC, HI, IL, MD, MN, NY, RI, WA: $76,350 - $105,700, plus commissions. Benefits include health plans, 401(k), tuition assistance, paid leave, and more.
