Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced construction professional to supervise the field execution of large or complex projects in Frederick, MD. You will organize, plan, and schedule work to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high quality, while leading a team of Superintendents and site staff.

Responsibilities include coordinating with owners, architects, and engineers; developing site logistics and schedules; monitoring subcontractor performance; and ensuring safety,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with minimum four years' related construction experience or equivalent.
• Proficient in building systems, codes, cost control, and scheduling methods.
• Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and Lean practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with owners/architects/engineers for day-to-day activities.
• Lead and develop Superintendents and staff; provide performance input.
• Develop project setup and site logistics plan; identify scope of work.
• Create and manage detailed work schedules and critical paths; expedite materials/equipment.
• Monitor subcontractor schedules, responses to impacts, and productivity.
• Maintain ethics, safety programs, and compliance with Turner standards.
• Oversee trade coordination and issue resolution; manage labor relations.
• Coordinate permits/insurance; liaise with inspection agencies.
• Manage WIP billing and monthly estimates; ensure contract documents are followed.
