Job summary
AECOM is seeking a Construction Resident Project Manager to join our Construction Management teams in the New York City Metropolitan area. The selected candidate will support highway and bridge transportation projects, coordinating with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities include oversight of field inspectors, staff coordination, change order evaluation, schedules and budgets, stakeholder
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree plus 4+ years of transit/transportation experience
- Experience with NYSDOT/NYCDOT projects
- P.E. license in New York preferred
- Strong communication, negotiation and leadership skills
- Procore, SharePoint and MS Project proficiency
- Certifications: PE, CCM, NICET, PMP, DBIA
Responsibilities
- Oversee field construction inspectors and safety on highway/bridge projects
- Coordinate staffing and supervise field/office teams including nights/weekends
- Evaluate change orders and negotiate costs and schedules
- Develop schedules, manage budgets and report to stakeholders
- Interface with agencies and contractors to ensure smooth execution
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations
- Mentor junior staff and support business development
