Job summary

RQ Construction LLC is seeking a Senior Construction Project Engineer for Naval Station Kings Bay, GA. The role supports all phases of commercial construction, coordinating schedules, workflows and communications to ensure project success on an active military base.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field, prior Project Engineer experience, and familiarity with Primavera, BIM, Revit, Viewpoint. CPR/First Aid/OSHA 30 certifications are required or available.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related discipline required; equivalent combinations of field experience and training may also be considered
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and general internet applications required
Previous experience as a Project Engineer required
Familiarity with Primavera P3/P6, Viewpoint, BIM, and Revit preferred
CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour certifications required (training available if needed)
LEED Green Associate credential is a plus
QCM certification is a plus

Responsibilities

Support project administration across all stages from planning to closeout
Coordinate schedules and organize workflows to track progress
Ensure effective communication among team members on site
On larger projects, take on additional project management duties as experience allows
Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, Quality Control Managers and Site Safety Officers
