Job summary

RQ Construction, LLC is seeking a full-time Construction Project Superintendent to support projects at Kings Bay military base in Georgia. You will lead field operations, coordinate subcontractors, and drive safety, schedule, and quality on site.

Responsibilities include supervising foremen and craft personnel, maintaining schedules, and working closely with the Project Manager to deliver high-visibility work on a fast-paced defense project.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years as a Superintendent on large-scale projects; 10+ years total construction field experience preferred.
• Experience with government, military, or large commercial projects a plus, design-build experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractors and internal teams to keep projects on schedule.
• Maintain project schedules from planning through completion.
• Enforce safety standards and quality control across site operations.
• Lead on-site personnel including assistant superintendents, foremen, and craft workers.
• Ensure clear communication across all project levels to achieve goals.
