DSC Dredge, a leader in dredging equipment, seeks a Product Support Specialist to serve as the senior on-site technical authority and primary customer contact. You will lead complex on-site installation, startup, and repair, mentor technicians, and coordinate with Engineering and manufacturing to ensure equipment performance.

Expect extensive travel (domestic and international) and flexible shifts, with promotion from field roles possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5+ years of hands-on field experience in electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic systems
• Ability to work independently in a customer-facing role.
• Valid driver's license and passport; 100% travel domestically and internationally.
• Willing to work flexible or rotating shifts and be reachable outside standard hours.
• Strong written and verbal communication; experience training customer teams.
• Proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Leads on-site installation, startup, and repair of complex DSC dredging equipment; directs Technicians as needed.
• Diagnoses and resolves complex electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems; primary technical customer contact.
• Interfaces with DSC manufacturing facilities and the customer through installation, training, and maintenance.
• Confirms customer facilities are ready before dredging equipment arrives on site.
• Identifies equipment modifications, upgrades, and services that improve equipment performance; supports upgrades and retrofits.
• Runs preventive maintenance programs and partners with Engineering on PM procedures.
• Mentors and provides technical guidance to Product Support Technicians on assignment.
• Maintains technical proficiency across the full DSC product line and recommends improvements.
