Job summary

DSC Dredge is seeking a Product Support Specialist to serve as the senior field technical authority on-site, lead installation and repair efforts, and mentor technicians. This role requires extensive travel, quick problem-solving, and strong customer communication to ensure optimal equipment performance.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on field experience in electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience training or presenting to customer teams.
• Valid driver's license and passport, with the ability to travel 100% of the time — domestic and international.

Responsibilities

• Leads on-site installation, startup, and repair of complex DSC dredging and support equipment, guiding technicians as needed.
• Diagnoses and resolves complex electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems; acts as the primary technical contact for customers.
• Interfaces with DSC manufacturing facilities and customers through installation, training, and maintenance phases.
• Ensures customer facilities and support equipment are ready before equipment arrives on site.
• Identifies equipment modifications, upgrades, and services to improve performance and supports retrofits.
