Job summary

Black & Veatch seeks a Sr. Field Procurement Representative to execute field procurement activities in direct support of onsite construction projects.

You will work closely with field construction teams, project management, engineering, logistics, and suppliers to secure timely, cost-effective materials, equipment, and services for the job site. The role is site-based with mobilization near Cartersville, GA and a long-term assignment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years experience in field procurement without a degree.
• Familiarity with Oracle or similar procurement systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to coordinate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Source materials, equipment, and services for onsite construction.
• Prepare bidding, evaluation, negotiations, and post-award activities.
• Maintain accurate field procurement records and ensure compliance with policies.
• Coordinate with field teams, project controls, legal, and finance.
• Support expediting, delivery coordination, and issue resolution to meet schedules.
