Job summary

Black & Veatch seeks a Project Procurement Manager to manage procurement activities for proposals and projects. You will lead procurement processes, prepare bid lists, solicit quotes, and negotiate contracts, while guiding teams across budgets and timelines.

The role requires strong negotiation, analytical skills, and a solid background in procurement and contract management. Hybrid or flexible work options are available after the initial period, with ESOP ownership and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience.
• All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected).

Responsibilities

• Purchases assigned equipment, construction, and service contracts for projects following established policies and procedures.
• Executes and manages the procurement process on assigned contracts including bid list preparation, solicitation of quotes, and evaluating, negotiating and awarding of contracts.
• Leads negotiations for assigned procurements and/or construction contracts.
• Monitors project procurement activities and reports status.
• May develop, create and lead presentations to internal and external client and joint venture partners.
