Job summary

INNIO Group, a global power solutions provider, seeks a senior field project manager to join its engineering team in the United States. You will deliver field and engineering support for continuous duty and standby power systems, covering electrical and mechanical equipment, from development through commissioning and start-up.

The role requires extensive cogeneration and power plant experience, strong project management, and the ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• Project management or project execution experience.
• Extensive prior experience with cogeneration, combustion engines and power plants.
• U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee/validate installation of power plant equipment and systems.
• Understand control, instrumentation, and automation concepts for engines, generators, switchgear, transformers, etc.
• Assist customers, engineers, and contractors through project development, installation, start-up and ongoing support.
• Coordinate commissioning, field testing and punch list rectification through commercial operation.
• Mentor junior staff and manage multiple projects with limited resources.
• Travel and work across locations, including international destinations.
